Pinch Pleat Filters

For greater filtration at an economical price, the DP FILTERS PINCH PLEAT combines the filtration characteristics of the Farr Pleat Series with the single frame construction of a monobond throwaway, and is designed for use where any 1" or 1/2" pleated or disposable filter is used. Flexible for installation in tight spaces, and snaps back to original shape.

FILTER MEDIA
The filter media used in all filters is a high performance, non-woven, reinforced cotton/synthetic fabric, specially manufactured to meet rigid performance specifications.

Media is available with an ASHRAE 52.1-92 (atmospheric) efficiency of 25-30%*.

MEDIA SUPPORT
The media support is an "expanded diamond" grid with 97% open area. The filter media is bonded to the media support to ensure pleat stability throughout the life of the filter.

PLEAT DESIGN
The filter employs a "radial V" pleat design. This guarantees total usage of filter media, and maximum dust holding capacity. This gives the user a greatly extended service life for cost savings.

ENCLOSING FRAME
The PINCH PLEAT utilizes one piece heavy-duty chipboard frame for additional stability and the elimination of air-bypass with its stitched-stapled assemby.

The PINCH PLEAT is available in all special sizes, and is available in the 1" and 1/2" configuration (2" not available).

1/2" Depth = 23-24 Pleats/Foot

High Capacity Specifications:
1" Depth = 15-16 Pleats/Foot
1/2" Depth = Not Available
