CONSTRUCTION

DP FILTERS glass media is made of 100 percent continuous filaments of spun glass, bonded with a thermo-setting resin. It assures deep dirt penetration and high dirt-holding capacity because the filaments are electronically programmed to form effective high loft, gradient density patterns.

A sturdy laminated backing on the downstream side, manufactured as an integral part of the media, reinforces the blue laminated glass media for greater strength. The backing also adds a final filter polish and provides the high tensile strength needed to prevent necking under tension in mechanical rolls.

 

BLUE LAMINATED GLASS

Heavy industrial commercial applications. Has a sturdy laminated backing for high tensile strength and extra filtration. Used for automatic rolls, and frame and pad systems under heavy dust and dirt loads.

ADHESIVE

DP FILTERS filter media is evenly coated with a gel type adhesive. The adhesive is applied in precisely measured amounts using an ultra-modern roller coaster device and prevents migration into air ducts.

AIR FLOW

All media is tinted blue on the air-entering side to insure proper installation.

PAINT ARRESTOR

A rigid, resilient, progressive density media used to trap and hold paint overspray in the exhaust air system.

PACKAGING

Bulk glass media is packed in leak-proof plastic bags to prevent contamination.

CERTIFICATION

Flash point is 325 degrees F. minimum on coated media and meets or exceeds all industrial standards. All media is tested under ASHRAE 52 Standards and is listed as Class 2 by Underwriters’ Laboratories.
